Dave Webb began playing upright bass in 6th grade school
orchestra and played his first paid gig the next year.
That's when he decided he would be a professional musician.
He got his first base guitar at the age of 13 and started
listening to players like Stanley Clarke, Chuck Rainey,
Michael Anthony, Jaco, Wyzard, John Enthwhistle and Chris
Squire. Having such a diverse background has allowed Dave to
play gigs ranging from Beethoven to BTO, Bebop to Bluegrass.
Dave has worked with Rolling Stones keyboardist Chuck
Leavell, Randall Bramblet (Widespread Panic, Steve Windwood)
and Grammy nominated Blues Diva Francine Reed. He has
recording credits on over 30 albums, music for CMT, and
numerous television commercials.
Currently Dave is on tour with Mercury Recording Artists,
Sugarland, one of the hottest new acts in country music.
Their debut single, "Baby Girl" held the #2 spot on the
Billboard Charts and set a record for the longest charting
song in history. You might have seen Dave playing Eden rigs
on the Tonight Show, Good Morning America and the Academy of
Country Music Awards from Las Vegas.
